Strength from Burden

We all have a weight that chains our souls to suffering. It drags behind us, slowing our movements and halting our spirits to its pull. The weight falls in between the scars on our skin, for the debts that we hold in our hearts that turns such weight into the arduity that we have to pull. We cannot change the weight. We cannot chip away at it. We can only become stronger! Rather than having the chains drag us down, it becomes the goal. To carry the weight in our hands, our bodies must become stronger and our ambitions refined making the burden lighter. You cannot change the weight but work towards being able to lift it up. Starting off by pulling the chain with our hands, rolling it, pushing it, carrying it, and one-day making music with the chains that bind us to our scars.
